Tip: If your dryer runs and has heat but does not dry clothes, the first things to check are the lint trap for excessive lint buildup and the dryer vent for kinks or excessive lint accumulation. Next, check the dryer vent where it exhausts the air outside, if you can get to it. There should be a strong airflow when the dryer is running.
